NDVI & Vegetation Index
Understand vegetation health and change using one of Earth observation’s most widely used indicators.
Vegetation intelligence
Choose a verified place or enter coordinates, then TerraNeuron searches live Sentinel-2 observations for that exact resolved point.
Satellite-derived information is observational and may be affected by cloud, haze, season, sensor geometry and spatial resolution. It is not a legal survey, ownership determination or agronomic/environmental diagnosis.
How it works
NDVI compares reflected near-infrared and red light to estimate vegetation greenness. Higher values commonly correspond with dense green vegetation; low values may represent bare ground, built surfaces, water or stressed vegetation.
What to understand
A trend can help investigate whether vegetation is increasing or disappearing, but season, crops, weather and sensor conditions matter.
